The numbers indicate how hard a file is.

The larger these numbers are, the finer the texture is, and conversely, the smaller they are, the thicker and rougher they are. (the less the grit, the coarser the surface of the file and vice versa.)Also for fake nails, we guide you with files with harder grits. For natural nails, prefer softer files.

80-100=grains very hard

120-150=hard grains

180-240=medium grains

400=soft grains

600=grains very soft
